Roy McGivern from the Charities Implementation Team in the Department of Social Development speaking at the launch of the new website from the impending Charity Commissions’ point of view about how the Code can be used to help Charity Trustees fulfil their duties, while Walter Rader, Director of the Big Lottery Fund, spoke on how important an organisations governance is to a funder.

It was launched earlier this year by Margaret Ritchie MLA, Minister for Social Development and has been welcomed by organisations as it is a key piece of work in developing standards of good governance in the voluntary and community sector.
