Disability Sport NI is the main disability sports charity in Northern Ireland and works to ensure that people with disabilities have an equal opportunity to lead a full, active and healthy lifestyle through sport and physical recreation. Last year our programmes benefitted over 20,000 people across Northern Ireland.
In order to extend participation opportunities for people with disabilities we are currently recruiting 2 posts, which are being funded by the Sport Northern Ireland Active Clubs Investment Programme.
ACTIVE CLUB CO-ORDINATOR – PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES (2 Posts)
Salary Scale: NJC 29-31 (£24,892 – £26,539) – Fixed Term Contract to 31st March 2016, with possibility of extension to November 2018.
The successful applicants will be responsible for increasing participation opportunities for people with disabilities in sports clubs, as well as developing a range of training, education and capacity building opportunities for coaches and volunteers.
