Student Sport Ireland (SSI) invites applications for the exciting, newly created role of Research Officer.

Based at the heart of Irish sport at the ever expanding Sport Ireland Campus, the Research Officer will play a leading role in the delivery of the recently SSI commissioned SASSI 2 study, the follow up to the ground-breaking and influential Student Activity and Sport Study Ireland (SASSI) (Murphy et al) published by SSI in 2016.

The Research Officer will take on the pivotal role of the point of contact and conduit of information between the SSI Research Committee, SSI affiliated colleges and the research team appointed to undertake SASSI 2.

The appointee will be a dynamic and enthusiastic researcher with a passion for sport and physical activity. The appointee will also possess the expertise, experience and drive to lead and support the SSI Research Committee during each phase of the research process and will have input into the drafting, finalisation and publication of the SASSI 2 study report.
