Sports Club Volunteer Management

This workshop designed to help you recruit, develop and recognise committee members more effectively, and covers key areas that are required to build a strong network of volunteers within your club, specifically committee members, as well as the abundance of helpers who sometimes do the small things that make the big difference. It will give you the opportunity to share your own good practice with others and pick up new ideas. The workshop is aimed at sports club representatives who may have a role in the recruitment, support & development and recognition & reward of club volunteers that the club needs to develop, manage, administrate and lead their club.
North West Coaching Forum
Alley Theatre, Wednesday 3rd October 2018. 6.30-9.30pm
Local sports coaches and volunteers will have the opportunity to hear from some leading coaching experts when Sport Northern Ireland hosts its North West Coaching Forum in Strabane later this year.
The event, which will take place in the Alley Theatre, Strabane on 3rd October, will welcome gold medal-winning athletics coach Stephen Maguire and skill acquisition specialist Dr Ed Coughlan as guest speakers.
Sport NI’s North West Coaching Forum supports the education and profile of coaches in the North West region and hosts several events throughout the year, offering practical and knowledgeable learning for participants and opportunities to network with other coaches. It was set up and supported by the North West Network which is made up of local authorities, sports partnerships and national governing body representatives from the North West region, and co-ordinated by Sport NI.
The event will take place on Wednesday 3rd October at the Alley Theatre, Strabane; lasting from 6.30pm – 9.30pm. Admission is free however limited spaces are still available.
