The Noah Donohoe Youth Sports Fund

The fund will close on Thursday 14th May 2026 at 1:00pm. About the Fund: Noah Donohoe (14) went missing from his home in South Belfast on Sunday 21st June 2020. He was a boy with many academic, sporting and artistic talents, alongside a huge generosity of spirit. His Mum Fiona has set up the Noah Foundation in his memory; a foundation to support children from all communities across Northern Ireland in as many diverse ways as possible. Grants for physical activity providers

In 2026, we’re offering grants of up to £3,000 to support physical activity projects for people with Parkinson’s across the UK. This year, funding is focused on people who are currently inactive, helping them begin to engage in physical activity and sustain their participation. Barclays Community Sport Fund

The Barclays Community Sport Fund, delivered in partnership with Sported, helps to reduce inequalities in sport – with a focus on football, tennis, and cricket. The fund supports community groups and grassroots sports organisations who are working within the most deprived areas of the UK and are making sport more accessible to women and girls, as well as engaging people from other underrepresented groups including people with disabilities, from racially diverse communities and from the LGBTQ+ community. Derry City & Strabane District Council – Grand Aid Funding 2026/26 Now Open

The 2026-2027 fund is now open for applications for: Following the completion of the Playing Pitch Strategy, Derry City and Strabane District Council’s Sports Committee has invested in a new Maintenance Fund that will provide financial assistance towards clubs who own and maintain their facilities and in particular playing pitches. Be Active Support for Sport Programme 2026-2027 Be Active Support for Sport is a small grants programme primarily aimed at grassroots sports. The Cooper Richardson Fund

Jack Cooper and his son-in-law Paul Richardson both died in 2022. This fund was set up by their family to honour Jack and Paul and the generous nature that they shared. They also shared a love of sport. Jack was a talented footballer and badminton player. Paul was a competitive swimmer and water polo player. As well as sports, the fund will also focus on the arts, especially music, which brought joy to Paul. PEACEPLUS Change Maker Funding Programme

Funding totalling €40million has been allocated for cross-community and cross-border projects through the PEACEPLUS Change Maker Funding Programme. The first round of general funding is open until 30 June 2026. The programme is providing grants of up to €100,000 for each project, supporting people-to-people projects that encourage cross-community and cross-border cooperation. System Partners Investment – National Governing Bodies (NGB) Programme

SportNI  have opened applications for the System Partners Investment (SPI) – National Governing Bodies Programme for the 2026–27 funding year. Cash for Kids is a grant-giving charity helping the children that need it most across Northern Ireland.
