NetballNI are recruiting for a new post of Part Time (15hrs per week) North West Community Good Relations Officer.
Netball Northern Ireland (NNI) has created this new post with funding support from The Central Good Relations Programme through the Executive Office following a review of our community programme and consultation with members and local clubs. Netball NI are committed to promoting good relations in local communities through our ability to deliver netball throughout the whole of Northern Ireland, and have identified this need for the post focused in the north west region.
Through the ‘Together we are netball’ Programme Netball NI wish to achieve the following outcomes:
- Increased delivery of Netball ‘Together We are Netball’ programme throughout schools in NI
• Increased good relations education and awareness opportunities for young people
• Positive attitudinal change among young people towards those from different backgrounds.
• The development of effective working partnerships within local communities to provide and sustain the capacity for good relation programmes to be delivered on a long term basis.
The successful candidate will be required to attend a range of daytime, evening and occasional weekend events in the North West region and occasionally further across Northern Ireland.
