The 2021 Sports Law Conference is happening virtually on Friday 12th November and we are delighted to announce the fantastic line up of speakers for this year’s Conference!
The annual Sports Law Conference is now an established and anticipated part of the Law Society’s CPD Programme. We have had many high profile and expert presenters such as Michael O’Neill, Baroness Tanni Gray-Thompson and Michael Beloff QC, offering practitioners a unique opportunity to hear from leaders in the sporting field. Presenters for the 2021 event will be revealed in due course however topics will include mental health and well-being, and
post Covid challenges for sport.
This Conference will be our 9th Conference and the first time it has been held virtually. This has allowed us to provide another wide range of speakers who will be joining us from England, Scotland and Australia whilst we are also keen to welcome virtual attendees from across the world. This conference is coordinated in partnership with the NI Sports Forum who are the recognised voice for the sport and recreation sector in Northern Ireland.
Another significant ‘first’ for our Sports Law Conference will see the first ever female Lady Chief Justice in Northern Ireland delivering the conference welcome and we look forward to having The Honourable Dame Siobhan Keegan Lady Chief Justice for Northern Ireland join us at the event.
