Volunteers are the lifeblood of sport in Northern Ireland and without them, sport may cease to be delivered. Their fundamental role and management is highlighted in a recent piece of research on Volunteering and Volunteer Management in Olympic Sport Governing Bodies.
The report has been produced as part of the implementation of the Northern Ireland Volunteer Strategy London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games .
