New PEACEPLUS funding call aimed at underrepresented groups

PEACEPLUS investment area 1.2

SEUPB has identified some sectors which have not been successful in obtaining funding across the PEACEPLUS Programme throughout Northern Ireland and the border counties of Ireland. Therefore, a new funding call specifically addressing these groups and sectors for is set to open soon.

The funding will be delivered through the theme of Building Peaceful and Thriving Communities, and PEACEPLUS investment area 1.2, Empowering Communities.

The key outputs of this investment area include increasing organisational capacity and joint organisational working in the pursuit of peaceful community cooperation.

The funding is designed to specifically address groups which are so far underrepresented within PEACEPLUS, namely:

  • Ex-Security Service Personnel
  • New Community/Minority Ethnic Groups (inc. Roma & Traveller)
  • Traditional Cultural Expression
  • Ex-Prisoners and Former Combatants

Ahead of the funding call opening, you are invited to register your interest in online/in-person information sessions, which are planned to take place between 19 February and 27 February. Further details will be provided in due course.
