The Blair Mayne Bursary Award Scheme, operated by Ards and North Down Borough Council, awards £1000 to successful applicants to help them realise their aspirations by helping fund a goal or a particular project.
This is an inclusive scheme and young people living with disability are invited to apply: one of the bursaries will be prioritised for an applicant with a disability.
Opening for applications: 22 January 2026
Closing date for applications: 26 February 2026 at 12noon
How can I apply?
- By sending an audio application which is no longer than 3 minutes duration to bmbursary@ardsandnorthdown.gov.uk making sure you record your name, address and date of birth.
- By completing and returning the application form, making sure to record your name, address, and date of birth on the application form.
- By calling into one of our two council offices to pick up an application: The Castle, City Hall, Bangor BT20 4AB or 2 Church Street Newtownards BT23 4AP.
