Better is proud to be one of official partners of Sport Relief. Centre staff, customers and partners, right here in Belfast, will come together as ‘Team Better’ for some spectacular sporting challenges and fun events. The money raised will be spent by Comic Relief to help people living incredibly tough lives.
Belfast Sport Relief 70 mile and 20 mile cycle challenge.
Girdwood Community Hub
Sunday 6th March, from 8am
Entry fee £25.00
The cycle challenge will finish at Girdwood Community Hub with a family fun day.
Everyone is welcome to come along to the cycle challenge- whether you’re part of a cycle club, or you want to just join in a group for a fun challenge to raise money for a good cause.
Set up your fundraising page
To help you fundraise we have set up team online fundraising pages for each leg of the cycle. Each individual taking part in the challenge will need to create a personal fundraising page which you can then push out to family and friends for donations – this will contribute towards the team total and Team Better’s overall total. We’ve attached a step-by-step guide on how to register to your team’s page, this will also follow in a confirmation email – remember to choose the Team cycle you are participating in and select “Better” as a corporate partner otherwise you won’t be helping Team Better’s total!
– – Your entry fee pays for the planned route and the support team and vehicle (just in case there are any issues during the ride) as well as energy food and drinks at “pit stops” along the route.
– – There will be a “completion celebration” Family Fun day at the end of the cycle at Girdwood Community Hub.
– – You will need to plan to and return journeys from the start and finish points.
Thanks again for your support in taking part in the cycle challenge. Make sure you get training! Remember to use the hashtag #TeamBetter if you post on social media about your training or the Challenge itself. We look forward to seeing you very soon!
If you have any issues please contact us, please promote amongst your family and colleagues.
