The seminar, which will be held on the evening of Wednesday 7th October at W5, Odyssey Arena Belfast, is part of the larger ‘Milk It’ programme which aims to communicate the importance of nutrition for the young athlete and physically active individual and the potential role or milk and dairy in recovery from strenuous training. The seminar itself is specifically aimed at those working with young people and young athletes.
This year we are fortunate to welcome Beth Tweddle MBE to share with delegates practical insights in nutritional needs for the competitive gymnast. Team GB Gymnastics Lead Performance Nutritionist Mhairi Keil will also share insights into the strategies and challenges of preparing the competitive gymnast for the world stage.
Dr Lewis James, Lecturer in Nutrition at Loughborough University will present to delegates the latest research into post exercise rehydration.
There is no cost for seminar.
