Over 5,000 charities are now registered with the Charity Commission for Northern Ireland and there’s a few thousand more waiting to be registered.
Charity registration is only the beginning of the new requirements on charities as registered charities will have to report to the Commission on an annual basis according to specific regulations.
The Developing Governance Group in association with the Charity Commission and local support networks would like to invite you to a free seminar focusing on the new accounting and reporting rules and regulations that have come into being which all charitable voluntary and community organisations need to be aware of.
This seminar will also focus on the importance of good governance within charities and present the newly revised Code of Good Governance.
This seminar will take place in various venues across Northern Ireland in conjunction with local support networks. Unfortunately, it has not been possible to go to every town in Northern Ireland so please see the list below for your nearest seminar.
