Sport NI has confirmed the courses on offer during the period 01 September 2008 – 31 March 2009.
The launch of the UK Coaching Framework and the forthcoming launch of Coaching Strategy for Ireland means that coaching is entering a new era, which will see much more investment in coaching and a greater interest shown by governments. Sport NI anticipate there will be much greater demand for courses and coaching programmes in the future.
In the expectation of increased demand Sport NI has recruited additional tutors who will attend an induction and selection weekend in September.
During the next few months it is hoped to add some additional courses to the current list. Below is the document sheet outlining potential courses and Sport NI would welcome your thoughts on which courses you will find most suitable. In some cases the course is already designed whilst in other cases the concept is in place and Sport NI will be working with Sports Coach UK to design these courses.
You are asked to complete one `Booking Form’ for each course Type and a `Course Overview Form’ where you are requesting more than one course of a particular type e.g. Child Protection – 4 courses – dates requested.
