The Northern Ireland Sports Forum and Klubfunder have joined in partnership to help local sports clubs and organisations improve their communications with members and stakeholders whilst cutting out administration burdens and increasing funds for their organisation.
No club can kick a ball, set up a tee or score a goal without having adequate financial and administrative support. There are thousands of sports clubs amongst the 70 governing bodies who are members of the Sports Forum and they are keen to outline how can support sports volunteers.
Klubfunder is an online platform to help clubs raise funds and to date has helped clubs raise over £3,000 000. Klubfunder provides a fundraising toolkit for clubs to use to register members, collect membership, sell tickets, run fundraising competitions and sell club merchandise online.Stephen Convery, Director at Klubfunder outlined how Klubfunder can support sports clubs and organisations. “Klubfunder is a leader in digital transformations in the sports industry and is branching out from grassroots to governing bodies. One example of this is the innovative new E-Learning platform for Ulster GAA. We believe the partnership between Klubfunder and the Northern Ireland Sports Forum will help grow and build relationships in the sporting community”.
Chairperson of the NI Sports Forum Richard Johnson expressed his delight at this new partnership which will provide much needed income generation activities for sports organisations while reducing the burden on volunteers. “We are excited to launch our partnership with Klubfunder as we recognise the potential benefits for sports clubs and governing bodies to generate income in difficult times while also cutting down the burdensome administrative duties such as club registrations allowing clubs to focus on the development of their clubs”.
