This three-hour online training session will cover best practice in recruitment and selection. This course will inform participants of the best practice approach to recruiting and selecting staff.
Priority will be given to Organisations as part for the Start Here programme.
The session is targeted at voluntary and community organisations recruiting people for the first time or those with experience wishing to refresh their knowledge.
It will cover:
- Equality legislation
- Job descriptions and person specifications
- Shortlisting applicants
- Planning and conducting interviews
By the end of the session participants will: Have an overview of their responsibilities and best recruitment practice Feel confident they are compliant with equality legislation Have copies of essential recruitment templates
