Organisation Information
Tennis Ireland is recognised by Sport Ireland and Sport Northern Ireland as the National Governing Body for Tennis in Ireland. The organisation incorporates the Head Office in DCU and the four Provincial Branches located in Belfast, Cork, Dublin and Galway. There are c.80,000 players in almost 200 clubs throughout the country. Our strategies include the expansion of the sport through a focused Participation and Club Development plan, continued development of our BNP National Academy and our Provincial Academies, Special Needs Tennis initiative with a drive to have it included in the Irish Special Olympics Team, Health & Safety incorporating child protection among others. |
Job purpose
Reporting to the Board, the Chief Executive Officer is responsible for the effective and efficient management of all aspects of Tennis Ireland. In particular for developing and delivering on the vision, mission, strategic direction and goals for the overall organisation to ensure its development and growth. |
