Sport and Leisure Grants

- Call 5 OPENs 1st January 2026.
Sport and Leisure Grants Available:
Capital Funds – Funding available to local sports clubs for the development of new facilities or the enhancement of existing facilities
Defibrillator Grants – Funding for local sports clubs or community groups towards the purchase of a defibrillator and associated security casing where applicable
Sport and Leisure Event Grants – Funding for sport and leisure events taking place within Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough
Grants for Clubs – Funding to support sports clubs to attend high level competitions, deliver coach education programmes or purchase specialised equipment to improve facilities.
Bursaries for Coaches and Officials – Bursaries support aspiring coaches and officials to achieve coaching/officiating qualifications
Bursaries for Athletes – Bursaries for elite and aspiring high performers who are competing (or have the potential to compete) at the highest level in their sport
