CANI seek Operations Officer

CANI are seeking to appoint an Operations Officer as the first point of contact for our members when joining CANI, renewing their membership, or contacting the organisation

JOB TITLE:               Operations Officer
LOCATION:             CANI Office and Home
REPORTING TO:     Head of Operations

PAY:                           £10.90 per hour
HOURS:                     37.5 hours per week
SALARY: £21,255

Interviews are scheduled for: Friday 9th June 2023.

As our Operations Officer, you’ll be the first point of contact for our members when joining CANI, renewing their membership, or contacting us for help – and it’s your job to provide excellent customer service and ensure all enquiries are responded to quickly and professionally.

You’ll need to be confident with using our online membership database (we’ll provide all the training you’ll need) and be friendly and engaging on the phone and in writing.

This role requires great attention to detail and a willingness to learn new skills – which could include everything from updating member records online, responding to Facebook messages, posting content to our webpage, promoting to the wider community through social member to attract new participants form the community, and supporting the Operational Development Officer and Head of Operations in delivering an overall quality service.

The post will be funded by the Department for Communities through the Rank Foundation’s Start Here programme.  The post is initially through to September 2025.  The aim is that after September 2025 this post will be sustained and developed further within CANI.
