Committed & Enthusiastic Board Members Wanted
Northern Ireland’s main disability sport charity, Disability Sport NI, is looking for enthusiastic and committed board members with an interest in sport and active recreation and with the skills and experience necessary to make a positive contribution to the further development of the organisation.
The charity believes that every person with a disability has the right to participate in all aspects of life and are committed to building a more inclusive society where people with disabilities have the same opportunity as non disabled people to lead a full, active and healthy lifestyle through sport and active recreation.
The charity is recruiting up to 8 Board Members with a range of skills and experience who can make a time commitment of at least 1 day per month from December 2015 onwards.
Board members positions are not remunerated but reasonable travel and subsistence expenses will be reimbursed.
The closing date for receipt of applications is 4.00pm on Friday 13 November 2015, with interviews taking place during the week beginning 16 November 2015.
