The Northern Ireland Sports Forum will be hosting an information session on the new Charities Regulations which will have a wide ranging and significant impact on the sports sector. The workshop will take place on Wednesday 12th February, 7pm at the House of Sport.
This information session will be primarily for Governing Bodies who will be able to use the session to assist and support their clubs. The session will be delivered by staff from the Charities Commission who will outline the changes in the legislation and the process for registration as a charity.
Sport is one of 12 Charitable purposes and it is envisaged that many organisations will have to register with the Commission whether they are currently a charity or not, therefore this is a must attend event for Governing Body members.
